Today was another normally hot summer day.

 During days like this when the temp. is over 100 degrees watering the garden is essential. If I go more than one day without watering, the yard can quickly go from wilted to crunchy. The flowers, the grass and bushes will all quickly wither and then die in this dessert like dry heat.

Strangely enough everything seems to be a bit greener each time I water. I learn alot from my times in the garden, about the nature of my Heavenly Father, the Master gardener.

The hot summer sun is what makes many of my summer blooming flowers bloom, without its warmth they would not show their colors. But go to long in that same heat without a drop of water and the same plant will quickly die.

So many times I read scriptures that speak of Gods rain. We ask Him often to "rain down", but do we know what we are asking? Do we know what it truly means?

Often times I feel like those flowers, searing in the summer heat crying out for drops of rain and waiting for His  Living Water to rain down. God is always faithful to hear and answer no matter what the answer seems like on the outside.  I must be humble and accept it.
